2225 Encanto Dr., NE | 3BRs & 3BAs | $1.375M
I can hardly believe this is the second “grand dame” Spanish home in Encanto Palmcroft that we’ve featured this week!
We’re pretty picky over here, but felt we really wanted to share this one with our Central Phoenix’s homebuyers looking for a character-rich historic home close to downtown.
This one is a ranch, so if you aren’t a fan of chasing little ones up stairs or just prefer single-level living, this may be your house. Built in 1950 and situated on just over 1/3 of an acre, this stunner was renovated by Urban Revivial LLC. True to their name, the classic architecture touches on all of today’s trends including lots of glossy black paint and finishes.
The casement windows, wood beams, and herringbone floors in the living room really do it for us! This room feels super cozy with the fireplace and not stuffy at all.
Let’s check out the kitchen and dining room, which do not disappoint. Brass hardware, sophisticated marble, and a professional chef’s stove almost make me want to cook.
We’re always talking about mixing eras to give your home that je ne sais quoi, and they’ve done so here with the incredible modern dining room fixture.
The bedrooms and baths are a great size for a historic home and are totally cohesive with the rest of the house.
The buyer of this home also has the option to purchase all of the furnishings and not have to worry about finding their own stunning rugs and art!
The office with its vaulted ceiling and molding is especially lovely.
Bathrooms are luxury hotel-quality, with one in clean, white marble and the master in sophisticated black.
We think both feel equally timeless.
Of course, if you’re looking to buy a home in Phoenix, we’re going to need to see the outdoors, which were renovated in 2019 to include a gorgeous pool, firepit, built-in gas BBQ, and even a misting system. If you aren’t sure what that is, it’s what restaurants in the desert use to make al fresco dining tolerable. To have one at home bumps this home into the luxury level!
It looks like the owners have also invested in artificial turf, which is quite pricey and a great value add.
A great find in Historic Midtown Phoenix!
